I trust everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season and brought in the New Year in style.

Looking back, 2009 was a challenging, yet successful year for Artisan Reforestation dispite the eroding economy.  2010 will prove to be just as challenging and we will once again depend on the hard work and dedication of our employees.

Artisan has another full spring and summer planting season lined up for 2010 (close to 60 days) that will keep us busy from May 3rd to July 22nd.  Hiring will begin shortly in the New Year and we anticipate needing to fill only a handful of spots- priority will be given to experienced planters.  Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in finding out more about our company, culture and contracts.  I can be reached at peter@artisanreforestation.com and I look forward to hearing from you!

The planting season is just around the corner and we are looking forward to get the ball rolling.  We have close to 70 scheduled planting days and look to have another successful and fun season ahead of us.   If you have experience and are looking for the small company atmosphere, contact me soon as we are quickly wrapping up our hiring for the summer.  Note: we do not have any rookie positions available.

Winter is well under way and an update is way overdue.  Well, it was a very busy summer to say the least, with a total of 78 planting days in 2008!  It was a summer filled with prosperity, laughs, adventures, great food, and incredible people. 

I would like to thank everyone for their strong efforts and contributions this past season.  It made for a memorable summer and I look forward to building on that energy in 2009.

We have another great year planned for 2009 and will be updating everyone soon, so stay tuned.  I will also be posting our 2008 award winners in the coming weeks.

Hey everyone! We’ve been doing a little pre-season planting with Dynamic in William’s Lake; things are going smooth and we’re all looking forward to a great season. Our official start-date in Fort St. James was pushed back until the 9th because of the record setting snow-packs, so the plan is to meet in Prince George on the 8th and we’ll all drive up together and set up camp on the morning of the 9th. Get in touch with your foreman if you haven’t already to make sure we’re all on the same page.
